What is SunFlow Coliving Space?

SunFlow is a professionally managed accommodation designed for remote workers, digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and creatives seeking a sunny, community-focused lifestyle combined with all the amenities needed for productivity. You get your own private room, coworking areas with reliable Wi-Fi, shared kitchens, cleaning, and a most importantly, a built-in community!

How is coliving different from a hostel or flatshare?

Hostels are for short-term tourists, often with dorm rooms and bunk beds. Flatshares are usually people living together, often long term and splitting rent and bills. Coliving is different: it’s short/mid-term, includes private bedrooms, coworking areas, regular cleaning, loads of organised activities and events.

Why choose Málaga for coliving?

Malaga really is an outdoor city. It is buzzing all year round and has over 325 days of sunshine per year, amazing beaches right in the city, tons of fiestas, cultural events, meetups and a busy remote working scene. The location of the city too makes it a great base for day trips to other cities in Spain like Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Cadiz and even Madrid, which can be reached by train in under three hours.

Who can stay at SunFlow Coliving Space?

Anyone who values community, flexibility, and a productive work environment can stay with us. We especially cater to digital nomads, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and creatives. In practice, that could mean a software developer from Berlin, a content writer from London or an online teacher from Buenos Aires — an instant international network of people all looking to make remote work less remote and to make the most of their stay in a new country.

How do I book a room?

To book a room, simply click the ‘BOOK’ button or visit our Booking Form page. Follow the steps to choose your dates and the room you are interested in and we´ll get back to you. (Direct online booking will be implemented in the very near future).

What is included in the price?

Your private room, all utilities (gas, water, electric, internet), coworking areas, general cleaning, linen, towels, laundry facilities and many free community events are included. We also have cooking essentials like salt, pepper, olive oil, herbs, spices and other condiments that you can use for free. There are no hidden extras, no surprise bills. All bedrooms have modern aircon and heating too.

How´s the Wifi at SunFlow?

We know stable internet is non-negotiable. SunFlow has contracted a 10Gb fibre-optic line into the building. The Wi-Fi strong enough for video calls, editing, streaming, programming and multiple users all working at the same time.

Is there a minimum stay?

Our minimum stay is typically 2 weeks. There is no strict maximum—many of our members stay for longer than they originally planned. Reach out for long-term discount rates or if you want to stay less than 2 weeks.

Do I need to sign a lease or contract?

No traditional leases are required. Bookings are flexible and designed for convenience, giving you the freedom to extend your stay as needed subject to availability.

Are social or networking events included?

Yes! We host regular community meals, events on our rooftops, yoga, hikes and excursions to help you connect and feel inspired during your stay. We especially love it when one of our members suggests an event or a skill share.

Is the location accessible by public transport?

Yes, SunFlow is easily accessible by bus train and taxi, with major public transit stops within walking distance. From the airport you can take a taxi/uber/bolt. It takes 20mins and costs between €15 and €25 depending on the time and season. Alternatively you can take the bus, but better than this is the C1 train to Alameda Central station. The trains leave every 20mins from 5:20am and tickets are €1,80 (takes 12mins). The walk to SunFlow takes 20mins after this.

How easy it is to travel to and from the Malaga?

Super easy. Malaga in recent years has become a hub for people travelling in Europe. Malaga airport is only 20 minutes away with very affordable direct flights to most European cities, and high-speed trains connect you to every major city. There are also reliable and safe buses going along the coast to smaller towns.

Is Malaga good for remote workers year round?

Definitely. Malaga is the warmest city in mainland Europe. With year round sunshine, long summers and very short winters. Its not uncommon to have temperatures into the 20´s even in winter. Combined with an active international scene, it’s just as enjoyable in December as it is in July.

What is the cancellation policy?

We take a 20% upfront payment at the time of reservation. The rest is payable on arrival. You may cancel up to 28 days before your check-in date for a refund of the upfront payment. For cancellations within 28 days of arrival we may reserve the right to withhold the payment. A partial refund may apply.

Where is SunFlow Coliving located in the city and how close to the historic centre and beach?

We’re located on a quiet pedestrian street just 100 metres from a historic market, local cafes and bars. Málaga’s historic centre is only 500 metres away, and La Malagueta beach a 20min walk.

Do I have to be super social to enjoy coliving?

Not at all. Coliving is about choice. Some guests love going to every shared dinner and event, while others like to keep things quieter and join in occasionally or do things not associated with the coliving. Both fit right in.

Is Malaga a safe destination for solo travellers?

Yes, Málaga is in fact one of Spain’s safest cities, with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Guests are safe to walk or cycle around day and night.

Is SunFlow pet-friendly?

Although we love animals, unfortunately pets are not permitted in our coliving space in order to maintain comfort for guests with allergies.
